About Emily

Emily Shea first found yoga at a young age. As a college student in Boston, she was a studio-hopper, going anywhere that offered the best deal and practicing as often as possible. Her personal practice intensified when she became a member of the Baptiste Yoga community in Brookline, MA, in 2014.

In 2016, she spent a year traveling abroad through South America, Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. She eventually found her way back to Boston and to the Boston Yoga School, where she earned her RYT-200 certification under the tutelage of Ame Wren, Ben Chused, and Monica Trobagis.

Emily is a strong believer in living out her yoga and encouraging others to do the same. Her classes are free of judgement, open to experimentation and self-discovery, and full of opportunities to further integrate mind, body, and spirit. She creates a space that is accessible for students at any stage of their yoga journey.

“Emily is awesome! Plenty of challenges for someone more experienced and modifications for those who need them.”
